Casio G-Shock has been around for quite some time. Initially known for their toughness and blocky styling they have evolved into a more fashion-sensed line with tons of colors and styling options. No matter what kind of watch you like there is something for you within the G-Shock line.
The GA110B line is one of only a few that carries both an analog and a digital time readout. Also a major feature of this watch is a analog speed readout which calculates your speed on the timing and lap functions of the watch. There are a few color combinations to choose from. This particular model is the Hyper Color series in green, but they also have a blue as well. There is a full white or black version and a orange and black model too.

Dial
Timekeeping is mainly analog with an hour and minute hand. The minute hand has a hacking movement which moves every twenty seconds, while the hour sweeps. Seconds are tracked on the lower of the two digital readouts. The time is actually quite easy to read considering it is mainly monochrome, block styling hours and dots for seconds help show the time in an unusual way.
As to be expected there is timing and lap functions which coincide with a speed readout dial. An easy to use world timing function is very easy to change timezones quickly with major cities for representation.

Lighting
Lighting is a single amber LED that is placed under the 6 o’clock block. Since it isn't a backlight it really does not show the digital screens very well but the hands are easy readable. An autolight function is one of the standout features of this watch. When initiated and placed parallel to the ground at a 40 degree angle the light will automatically engaged. This makes night time reading very easy and hands free. You can even change the duration of the LED light between one and three seconds.
Band & Case
The resin based band is a shiny rubber material on the outside and matte on the inside so it resists sticking to your skin. The same material almost seamlessly carries over to the case. At first glance this watch looks to be a hard plastic although it has more of a rubber feel. I expect that this watch with absorb shocks instead of scratching.
