Friday, December 30, 2011 at 8:49AM When you think about, the watch strap is just as important as the watch itself. It can also make or break a watch too, having to be the right color, and it must be comfotable too. Bas & Lokes out of Sydney, Australia hand produces all sorts of leather straps that are custom made to your specific size prefence. There are a lot of strap makers around but Bas & Lokes sticks to a set of features and quality that are like none other.

Saturday, October 9, 2010 at 10:53AM I was on the hunt over the last few weeks for a nylon strap. After seeing them incorporated to some very high end watches from IWC on the TOP GUN and the Maurice de Mauriac Chrono I figured they would be easy to find. Wow was I wrong. There is not an abundance of nylon straps on the market that are stitched and layered like a traditional strap. You can find nylon on NATO style straps which are very abundant and easy to find.
Maratac has some of the best variety and nice looking NATO straps available. They also produce a line called the Elite Series. This is a coated composite that is actually a bit more durable than a traditional uncoated nylon that has the chance to fray and wear.
Thursday, September 23, 2010 at 2:55PM The search for a good strap for your watch can be daunting considering the amount of companies making them today. And then there is the price, varying from high to low it seems if you want something unique you will be shelling out near $100US. Well there is a great solution from Steinhart watches, not only do they make watches, but they also hand make their own bands.
