Sunday, October 30, 2011 at 6:03PM Christopher Ward C8 Pilot MKII Vintage Edition Final Review
Going into this review the C8 Pilot MKII is already in our Favorites list. It’s hard to think how much better it could get, especially with only a few cosmetic updates. The Vintage Edition not only looks good, but also carries the same great features that Ward has already packed into it as well as a historic look.

The C8 Pilot from Christopher Ward is already one of our favorites. You’d think that it would be pretty hard to top yourself on a watch that we already like, but CW has managed to accomplish this. The new Vintage Edition in the C8 Pilot line takes all of the old watch design of the original pilot watches and infuses it with modern watch making in a beautiful (or should I say handsome) color combination.

Big watches usually come in round packages. But in the case of the EOT2, big watches also come in rectangular packages too. Big featured parts with small details make this watch an overall design that has a cohesive feel. Oddly enough it doesn’t feel like a rectangular watch due to its angular and radius features throughout.

A solid watch that works with you everyday is priceless. A solid watch that is a commemorative edition is a piece that can stay with you forever. The Jorg Gray JG6500 takes on both of these traits. This watch is a small, light, day-to-day workhorse that takes the time to dress up to the occasion.
Saturday, November 13, 2010 at 10:31PM Jorg Gray JG6500-31 Chronograph Initial Review
Jorg Gray has been making quite a bit of news lately. Starting as an OEM watch manufacturer they took the next step and started their own brand. Building watches that take styling cues from many other watch styles their vast line has cohesive understated yet forward thinking look. This is Jorg Grays commemorative edition of that watch that is called the JG6500-31. Just like the Timex IronMan made popular by President Bill Clinton in the 1990s, the JG6500 is worn very often by President Barrack Obama.
The JG6500 is a Miyota powered quartz chronograph that comes two styles of black as well as two styles of crocodile leather brown. The brown versions come in either a rose gold case, or the color of this review piece, bronze.

After two weeks with the Prometheus Recon 5 I have found a watch that I actually began to like more and more as I wore it. Its solid construction and comfortable feel make it very enjoyable to wear. The Unitas 6497 movement is top notch making it a dependable and long lasting piece.
