After reviewing two watches from Prometheus now, they have really solidified their spot as a well rounded watch company in my mind. The JellyFish is a great value as well as a high featured watch that offers more than a regular dive watch.

It’s been a while since we reviewed the Prometheus Recon 5 Pilot Watch. The level of detail to the band, movement and face where definite standouts. The Jellyfish is a new release from Prometheus that comes it in at a great value with a full set of features.

After two weeks with the Prometheus Recon 5 I have found a watch that I actually began to like more and more as I wore it. Its solid construction and comfortable feel make it very enjoyable to wear. The Unitas 6497 movement is top notch making it a dependable and long lasting piece.

Portugal is not a place that you usually think of as a watch country. But Prometheus has some of the most solid, well priced, Swiss made timepieces currently available. I came across Prometheus while looking for a Swiss movement, manual wind piece. Based in Portugal they have a line that currently contains Pilot and Dive watches.
