When I first heard about the Mutewatch, I saw that it was amazingly straightforward in its purpose as well as its design. Developed in Stockholm, Sweden, you can see the Scandinavian design in the look and feel of the product. Using LEDs to timing and vibrations for alerts, its an exercise in blending what a lot of people are starting to use as a watch (their smartphones) and a timing device. This watch review is going to be a bit different, not focusing on movements or whats inside, rather what the watch does for design and function.

We took a look at the simple, yet colorful Altitude from Kennett before. Now we get to take a look at their Challenger Chronograph which is a large, quartz based chrono with more detail and a leather band.

We have tried a few watches from Jorg Gray in the past, but none quite as well polished as the JG8100. This watch is a new design style from Jorg Gray relying on hard design rather than bold printing to get it’s point across. Finished with a rock solid Swiss ISA Quartz movement, this piece is going to be interesting to give a try.

Since giving the GA110B a try a few months back we have been quite hooked on the G-Shock line. Tons of cool features, a myriad of styles and colors, and an overall tough look led to this review, the GX56. Its a massive, feature rich G-Shock that has so much to offer its going to take both reviews to cover everything.

When a watch is truly unique it is even more rewarding to wear than usual. Interesting pieces of the watch that standout and newly discovered features after wearing it overtime are part of the experience. This is exactly the feeling and experience that you get when wearing a Magrette. Their pieces are unique in more than one way and their exclusivity lets you know that you are wearing a piece of art.

Having been to New Zealand this year I can easily say it is one of the most interesting, beautiful and fun places I have ever been. The landscape, culture and style is truly unique. Magrette has taken all the great aspects of New Zealand and injected them into a line of watches. Their Moana Pacific PVD is another great addition to their line that comes with a whole host of features and style.
