Wilson Watch Works 43mm Military Chronograph Final Review

Bund straps have had a bit of a popular resurgence for watches in the last few years.  A lot of them are too large and don't look good in a variety of situations.  Wilson Watch Works has resurrected the old style of bund strap with their 43mm Military Chronograph.  Using a smaller and more traditional strap makes for a perfect all around watch that has timeless style.

A few months ago we got a close look at Wilson Watch Works, a small watch company with just about the most personalized service available.  Their latest watch is Chrono inspired by the Heuer Bundeswehr of the 1960s.  With a limited run of only 50 pieces this watch is already a collectable.

After about 2 weeks with the Wilson Watch Works Pilot 43mm I am not only a bigger fan of mechanical watches but the custom watch world is definitley something that everyone needs to give a try.  Having the option of choosing your own components when purchasing a watch brings a new experience to wearing the it daily.

Wilson Watch Works Pilot 43mm Initial Review

I first heard about Wilson Watch Works through word of mouth.  After visiting their site I was dead set on giving them a try considering I would be able to customize my own watch.  The company is based in Wilson, North Carolina.  You get one-on-one attention when ordering the watch from Chris Pappas.  He walks you though the entire process and is extremely knowledgable on all the options from look to function.  Pictures are even sent to you during the assembly process so you can see the watch taking shape.
